Rudy Rico wraps up 3 JBRL Electric Series Titles!

The JBRL Electric series now in it’s 9th season, travelling to tracks all over the west coast, attendance at record highs, and some of the most fun tight and competitive racing around, it’s no surprise the racers enjoy this series every year. Tekin factory driver Rudy Rico managed to have a stellar 2015 JBRL Electric series taking 3 overall titles! Rudy chose the award winning Tekin Rx8 Gen2 ESC and Pro4 HD motor to power his Tekno 4wd SC truck to victory. In his 4wd buggy the Tekin RSX ESC and Redline Gen2 motor was his weapon of choice. In E-buggy it’s no surprise that once again the venerable Tekin Rx8 Gen2 ESC and T8 Gen2 1900 motor would power him to another overall win(same choice as Adam Drake in the Nitro Series).

“Had a great season of the JBRL 2015 and was able to take 3 championships in 4wd SC, 1/8th scale buggy, and 4wd modified buggy, it was a tough year with tons of competition in each class. My Tekno Sct410.3 and EB48.3 were consistent all year to take the championships. I couldn’t of done it without my sponsors: Tekno RC, Tekin, MIP, Venom, and Schelle.” Rudy Rico

Boots and Tekin win Maritime Racing World Cup!

Elliott Boots would take the overall Tq position after 4 rounds of qualifying. Battling with Tekin teammate Ellis Stafford as well as Lee Martin for the win, the semi final mains would be heated to say the least. Boots running the latest Tekin Gen3 motors along with the Tekin RSX ESC would provide him with all the power he needed without fade allowing him to pace Martin in the finals and force a mistake to take the overall win at the Off-Road Wars held at Maritime. Ellis Stafford would take P3 overall also running the latest Tekin Gen3 Motor and RSX ESC.
