{"id":152,"date":"2012-12-19T00:17:00","date_gmt":"2012-12-19T00:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/wordpress\/?p=152"},"modified":"2012-12-19T00:17:00","modified_gmt":"2012-12-19T00:17:00","slug":"drake-wins-big-at-the-ierc-toys-for-tots-race","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/news\/drake-wins-big-at-the-ierc-toys-for-tots-race\/","title":{"rendered":"Drake wins big at the IERC Toys for Tots race!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last Saturday IERC Raceway hosted their Inaugural Toys for Tots race. \u00a0The event had 165 entries. \u00a0The weather in southern CA. was cold and rainy so <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Team Tekin<\/a> drivers Adam Drake, Ronda Drake, Matt Olson and many other <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tekin <\/a>drivers grabbed their electric vehicles and headed indoors. <\/p>\n<p>Adam &#8220;The Drake&#8221; would also drop his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tekin <\/a>powered TLR Scte 4wd Sc down at this race. Fellow <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tekin <\/a>teammate Matt Olson would take the overall Tq but the two drivers would battle it out during the main. In the end Adam would edge out Matt for the overall win. Joining them on the podium was none other than <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tekin <\/a>powered Ronda Drake. All 3 drivers chose the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/rx8.html\" target=\"_blank\">Tekin Rx8<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/Pro4.html\" target=\"_blank\">Pro 4 4600kv<\/a> motor.<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-0BtOYXAowoo\/UNEHL_xX-YI\/AAAAAAAAEE4\/XYxEm4DDRxc\/s1600\/Toys+4wd+SC.png\" imageanchor=\"1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" height=\"213\" src=\"http:\/\/3.bp.blogspot.com\/-0BtOYXAowoo\/UNEHL_xX-YI\/AAAAAAAAEE4\/XYxEm4DDRxc\/s320\/Toys+4wd+SC.png\" width=\"320\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Adam Drake also competed in 1\/8th E-buggy class taking down the win. Followed in 2nd place by Brian Sullivan and 3rd place Ronda Drake.
