The series consisted of one race each month during the months of June, July, and August and averaged 70 plus entries at each event. Racers\u00a0from all over New England would gather on a summer Saturday night to race r\/c cars and win the Triple Crown.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/\">Tekin<\/a> powered Scott Furtado would take the Mod Stadium Truck class victory running a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/rsx.html\">Tekin RSX<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/redline_gen2.html\">8.5 Gen2 Redline<\/a> motor. \u00a0&#8220;Overall it was a great series and came away with the\u00a0championship.&#8221; Scott Furatdo<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Triple-Crown-2014.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1261\" src=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/Triple-Crown-2014-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Triple Crown 2014\" width=\"640\" height=\"900\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The &#8220;Triple Crown Summer Series&#8221; over at Maixmus R\/C Raceway in York, ME.
