{"id":1150,"date":"2014-07-15T16:27:35","date_gmt":"2014-07-15T16:27:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/news\/?p=1150"},"modified":"2014-07-15T16:29:00","modified_gmt":"2014-07-15T16:29:00","slug":"wheeler-and-tekin-win-proline-indoor-champs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/news\/wheeler-and-tekin-win-proline-indoor-champs\/","title":{"rendered":"Wheeler and Tekin win Proline Indoor Champs!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>2nd Annual Pro-line Indoor Champs held at Warehouse 3 Raceway in Phoenix, Az wrapped over this past weekend. <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/\">Tekin <\/a><\/strong>factory driver Chris Wheeler was in attendance showcasing his latest <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/rsx.html\">Tekin RSX<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/redline_gen2.html\">Gen2 <\/a><\/strong>powered TLR ride.<\/p>\n<p>Chris would put his <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/\">Tekin <\/a><\/strong>powered <span style=\"color: #00ff00;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tlracing.com\/Products\/Default.aspx?ProdID=TLR03003\"><span style=\"color: #00ff00;\">TLR 22 SCT 2.0<\/span><\/a><\/span> on the P1 position taking rounds 2 and 3 in qualifying. Using the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/rsx.html\">Tekin RSX<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/redline_gen2.html\">7.5 Redline Gen2<\/a><\/strong> motor for power Wheeler would start from the 1 spot on the grid and\u00a0would lead wire to wire in the 10 minute A-main to take the TQ and win for the 2nd year in a row.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/pro2podiumproline.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1152\" src=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/pro2podiumproline.jpeg\" alt=\"pro2podiumproline\" width=\"769\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/pro2podiumproline.jpeg 769w, https:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/pro2podiumproline-240x300.jpeg 240w, https:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/pro2podiumproline-120x150.jpeg 120w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 769px) 100vw, 769px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The biggest and most competitive class of the event was 17.5 2wd buggy. Chris would qualify in the 5th position for the 10 minute main. At the start Wheeler\u00a0stayed patient and managed to move up to 3rd after a few mistakes from other drivers and would then move up to 2nd. The layout was very one line and tough to pass on so patience was need and by the time Chris\u00a0moved into 2nd the leader had a large lead so he\u00a0would settle for 2nd overall.
