Tekin Sweep!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last weekend was the Tale of Two Cities race at Hal&#8217;s Hobby Warehouse in\u00a0El Paso, Texas. Hal&#8217;s Hobby Warehouse has served as El Paso&#8217;s largest\u00a0full line hobby store since 1954 and has a 4,500 square foot store with\u00a0both an on-road and off-road track. The event kicked off with practice\u00a0on Friday and racing took place Saturday. The event had 12 heats. Adam Drake competed in the 1\/8th electric buggy class and was able to take the TQ and victory with his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/rx8.html\">Tekin Rx8 Gen2<\/a> esc <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/t8.html\">T8 Gen2 1900kv<\/a> powered TLR 8ight E 3.0. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/\">Tekin<\/a>\/TLR teammate Casey Peck would take 2nd running the same equipment, as was young privateer\u00a0<span style=\"color: #222222;\">Andruw Martinez.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Tales-Race.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-1044\" src=\"http:\/\/www.teamtekin.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Tales-Race-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Tales Race\" width=\"595\" height=\"461\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last weekend was the Tale of Two Cities race at Hal&#8217;s Hobby Warehouse in\u00a0El Paso, Texas.
