| The 2009 Snowbirds saw some of the best racing in years. In On Road, Tekin drivers were found at the top of every class! Donny Lia continued his domination in the 1/12 GTP Class Tq'ing and winning from tone to tone using the RS ESC. Jeff Cuffs dominated his TC Classes by Tq'ing and winning, again with an RS. Team Driver, Mike Dumas found a podium spot in 1/12 10.5 and 1/12 Mod running an RS PRO. Team drivers, Eli Ezrow, Eric Anderson, JB Catricala, Kenny Lambert, Zak Barry and Mark Smyka all found A-main finishes. The Tekin RS was so good that HALF the field was running the Tekin RS in classes like 1/12 17.5 GTP and 17.5 Foam TC where every ounce of horsepower, speed and efficiency is an absolute must! WGT saw 3 top finishers; Josh Cyrul, Donny Lia, and Mike Dumas all in the top 5 and all running the RS.
The Birds Oval racing was the closest it's ever been. And once again Tekin was on top! Team Tekin driver, Alan Behler dominated the the Oval, Tq'ing and winning both the 4 cell 17.5 and the COT Truck class all with the RS. Alan also finished 2nd in the Lipo 21.5 class followed closely by fellow teammates, Eric Anderson and Bud Denning all utilizing the RS's superior horsepower. No stranger to the podium, Tekin team driver Phil Marabella from the 2nd qualifying position won with style taking the win in the 1/12 13.5 Class while also grabbing a podium spot in the 4 cell 13.5 class. Team driver, Mark Smyka went out and won the SK oval class, again with the RS ESC.

Tekin was also present in winning the Invitational Thunder 600 class where team drivers Eric and Steve Salvas took the win with the Custom Works team. A grueling race that saw quite a few equipment failures, but the Salvas brothers knew they could rely on the Tekin RS Pro.
It was a great race weekend. The Tekin team did very well, and worked together to confirm that Tekin is in the top spot and here to stay! Special thanks goes out to Jeff Cuffs and Kenny Lambert for stepping up huge to support anyone running the Tekin RS! Thanks Jeff and Kenny!
