Phil Cady drove his TEKIN RS Pro powered car to an A Main win at the Canadian Pro-10 Nationals over fellow Tekin RS user Blake Bell(TQ & 2nd place)held in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The Pro-10 Nats uses 6 cell NiMh or 2 cell Lipo, 10.5 brushless or 19T brushed motor, up to 235mm width and any body. On the first day of qualifying Phil bettered his TQ in each round as he managed the HotWire software settings on his RS Pro. After giving up TQ on day two to a racing incident, Phil started in second position in a field of many drivers running Tekin motors and speed controls. A mishap involving 4 cars in the first corner set him back into fourth, just over six seconds behind. With three laps to go, Phil overtook the leader to take home the win just narrowly beating out a past Pro-10 Champ by just a few tenths of a second! Phil used v199 software 6 on the motor, 15 boost and 10 turbo to manage punch, speed and heat effectively to take the win.
