According to the picture at left, it looked like a calm and cool morning in Valdosta, GA, but things would heat up fast as BIll Oxidean and his competition prepared their boats for the FE-5 Record Trials.

Bill's R1 Pro powered 0-1 Sport Hydro and 0-1 Mono were setting record speeds throughout the trials.  However, Bill's early records were broken twice. He was not giving up and continued to work hard squeezing every bit of speed he could out of his boats.  With his 0-1 Sport Hydro, Bill was able to speed past his competition with a 49.137mph World Record 2-pass average!  Bill's fast lap was 49.407mph!  The competitions' average was 44mph.  Bill's 0-1 Mono pulled off a 37.074mph World Record 2-pass average with his fast pass at 37.512mph!  Competitors' average was around 30mph and the previous record stood at 33mph.

Bill's boat skills and the power of the R1 Pro ESC are no doubt a lethal combination and can unleash some serious speed on the water!  Congratulations, Bill!!!
