If you've ever been in a conversation about driving fast or the Indianapolis 500, there's a good chance the man who's done both and is the best at it, Bobby Unser, was mentioned. Although RC enthusiasts drive cars fast they don't go over 190mph and they are a tad smaller than the real thing. None the less our RC world seemed to spark some interest in the mind of this international motorsports hall of famer. Bobby was kind enough to swing by our office for a little wheel time and talk shop with the crew here at Team Tekin.

From the onset it was all ears as we got to hear first hand recollections of some of the greatest moments in Indycar history from the man who had done it and won it. We showed the Unsers around and obviously had to put some TCs down on the track to demonstrate the scale speeds and parallels shared with the full scale versions of the cars. It was a good time and a lot to talk about as car setups, steering, acceleration and CG were all very familiar to both Bobby and the Tekin crew. Bobby hung out with us for almost the entire day, a real treat to be in the presence of such a legend!
